The Victorian photography Experience

It is the end of the 19th Century and today you will travel back to experience the life of a working photographer in that time. We will take you through some of the techniques and processes of that time, the mechanics of using a historic camera and lenses of that period, the challenges (and benefits) of traditional materials and have you make an image using a historic camera from our collection. We will also demonstrate the magic of wet plate collodion photography.
