Lenses

On this page we have a selection of the lenses that Members are able to rent. They are mostly large format lenses. For other lenses e.g. 35mm take a look in that section. We have access to other lenses too so please ask.

E Krausse of Paris 500cm F6.3

This beautiful lens dates from around 1910 and is a Tessar design. It was originally intended for a plate size of 24x30. It covers 8x10" comfortably,10x12" or 11x14" or larger at infinity. It has a brass flange and we have it mounted to a Sinar - Intrepid 8x10 board.

Linhof Schneider - Kreuznach Tele Xenar F5.5 500mm in Copal Shutter

This is a hard to find large format lens made for 8x10" cameras. It was very popular back when for sports, landscapes etc. Very sharp.
